If you're new to the roguelike genre, you should read the introduction in the manual after
reading this. But if you aren't, quickly read this through so that you don't have to learn
these most frequently asked questions "the hard way". Thank you.

-Pressing ? in-game shows you the list of commands and the associated keys for them.
You can change keys by editing Keybindings.txt. Arrow keys and ESC work most of the time too

-To move using numpad (recommended), your numlock has to be ON. Also when moving/resting,
use the quick move 'w' to go faster. You can also quick move using shift+direction, but
this currently works only with the default *numpad* directions. For example shift+numpad 6
 quick moves east.

-Using and dropping items is done in the inventory screen. Read the top lines for info there.
 Equipping has its own screen.

-In various inventory screens the color of the item indicates its blessed/cursed/uncursed/
unknown status. Blessed is yellow, cursed is red, uncursed is blue and unknown is gray.

-Dungeon features are used by pressing 'u' (use) while standing on them, but the pickup
command works with the frozen corpses as well. Also, the - and _ dungeon features are not
the same, pay attention. Chatting with sages/smiths is done with 'c' (chat)

-The Goddess requires quite a lot of sacrifices, perhaps more than you might expect.

-Special skills help a lot. You may want to plan ahead what stats to pick to get skills as
fast as possible. Accurate and Critical strike/shot are one of the first and easiest to get.

The manual has more info, tips and hints if you want to learn more detailed stuff of the game.

And a pro-tip I use on large screens: Turn the resolution down so that the console window
isn't so tiny.

For Windows users only:
There is a shortcut in the package. Point that to the right .exe and right
working directory to get better colors and a larger font. It takes half a minute
and enhances your play experience, so please do it.

If you get an error message, which says that you don't have some data files,
but you do have them, please check your shortcut's working directory. It should
point to the folder where the data files are.

You may have to insert the data manually (right click on the shortcut etc.).
If it doesn't work and you want prettier colors, you can change them manually
by configuring the console. That takes more time, though.

Playing in the fullscreen mode can enhance play experience too. Press ALT+ENTER
to enter the fullscreen mode (doesn't work on all versions of Windows).

A short troubleshooting section:
Some Ubuntu users have gotten a "file not found" error when trying to launch the game
with ./fdepths in the terminal. Installing the ia32-libs package seems to be the solution.

Macintosh users have to configure their terminal to support at least 16 colors to make
	the game work properly.
